Lawyer graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú in 1985, where she also studied a Master's Degree in International Economic Law (1996). He also holds a Master's degree in International Service from the American University in Washington DC (2006).
Before joining our Firm, she was the Director of the Office of Cooperation and International Affairs in the Ministry of Labor, where complaints against the Peruvian state were handled before the Committee on Freedom of Association and she was in charge of the first complaint within the mechanism of dispute resolution, of labor nature, under the Trade Treaty with the United States. She has been First Supranational Prosecutor in the Ministry of Justice, in such condition in charge of the defense of the State before Courts and Courts of Human Rights. She was also the principal agent of the Peruvian State before the Inter-American Court of San José of Costa Rica in 22 trials. Likewise, he collaborated as Legal Attaché in the permanent representation of Peru before the Organization of American States (OAS), in the city of Washington.
As a lawyer, she has over 30 years of experience in both the public and private sectors as well as abroad. She has been Chief of the Office of the Ombudsman, being responsible for the coordination of the various research areas of that institution, as well as the preparation of specific reports for the Congress or International Organizations, among others. In addition, as an expert on Fundamental Rights, she was part of the Advisory Committee of the Labor and Social Security Commission of the Congress of the Republic and expert invited by the International Labor Organization to study the Transit of Informality to Formality.
She is the founder and Coordinator of the Master in Conflict Resolution at the San Martín de Porres University since 2014. She is also in charge of the teaching of the Dialogue and Reconciliation courses, as well as the thesis research counseling Program.
